Visit the Cavendish Museum

Explore the extraordinary history of the Cavendish Laboratory through a new exhibition of scientific objects, archival imagery, and untold stories, tracing the Laboratory’s legacy from its founding 150 years ago to the present day. From the delicate glass tube that revealed the electron to Crick and Watson’s model of DNA, the Cavendish Museum has been professionally redisplayed to showcases discoveries that reshaped our understanding of nature and changed the course of history.

The Museum is free and open to all visitors during our opening hours. If you are planning to bring a group of 10 or more people, please contact us in advance to arrange your visit.
