Quentin Gueuning, PhD’19, is a Senior Research Associate at the Cavendish Laboratory of the University of Cambridge, UK. Dr Gueuning is a specialist in electromagnetic simulation and antenna array design. He is involved in several international cosmology experiments, including the Square Kilometre Array, HIRAX, and REACH.
His research interests span computational electromagnetics, numerical analysis, RF system design, and calibration techniques. In particular, he develops innovative full-wave EM solvers, with a focus on improving the design and calibration of instruments targeting the cosmological 21-cm signal.
