Biography

Zoran Hadzibabic received his PhD from MIT in 2003 and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, before joining the Cavendish as a Lecturer in 2007. He was promoted to Readership in 2012 and Professorship in 2014. His honours include an ERC Consolidator Grant, an EPSRC Established Career Fellowship, an IOP-SFP Holweck Medal and Prize, and a Fellowship of the American Physical Society.

Research

I am interested in novel collective quantum phenomena which can be studied using ultracold atomic gases as highly controllable strongly correlated many-body systems.
