The PPMS DynaCool is Quantum Design's latest generation of Physical Property Measurement System. It has an operational temperature range of 1.8 - 400K, and a 14T superconducting magnet. Additionally, the system is equipped with the following measurement options:
- Electrical Transport Option (ETO)
AC Resistivity, 4 or 5-wire AC Hall Effect, I-V Curve or Critical Current
- AC Susceptibility / DC Magnetisation Measurement Option (ACMS II)
AC Response of magnetic materials
- Heat Capacity Option
Specific heat as a function of temperature and applied magnetic field
- Helium-3 System
Transport and heat capacity measurements from 0.5K to 350K.
