Ulrich Schneider has been awarded the Rudolf-Kaiser-Prize 2015 in recognition of his important scientific contributions to the study of non-equilibrium dynamics in many-body quantum systems, the experimental realization of negative absolute temperatures and interferometric studies of the quantum geometry of synthetic quantum materials. The Rudolf-Kaiser-Foundation yearly awards the prize to a young experimental scientist with extraordinary scientific achievements. The prize is one of the most prestigious awards for young scientists in and beyond Germany.
