The US Department of Energy has published an article about Jacqueline Cole's Data Science project, which is funded by the 1851 Royal Commission of the Great Exhibition 2014 Design Fellowship and Argonne National Laboratory, USA. Cole and her collaborators use data-mining in order to discover new dyes for solar-powered windows.
