Prof Richard Hills, Emeritus Professor of Radio Astronomy, elected to the Fellowship of the Royal Society.

We are delighted to report that Professor Richard Hills, Emeritus Professor of Radio Astronomy at the Cavendish Laboratory, has been elected to the Fellowship of the Royal Society. The citation notes his work on the development of radio astronomy at millimetre wavelengths and in particular his roles in the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope in Hawaii and the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) in Chile.
