Didier Queloz awarded this year's Nobel Prize in Physics

We are delighted to hear that our colleague, Professor Didier Queloz, has been awarded this year's Nobel Prize in Physics, jointly with James Peebles and Michel Mayor. Didier and Prof Mayor are cited for their joint “discovery of an exoplanet orbiting a solar-type star”, while Prof Peebles is cited for “theoretical discoveries in physical cosmology”.

This is a well-deserved reward for Didier’s exceptional skill in the field of exoplanet research.
