Correction - Monday 14 Jan, 17.00- 18.00: ftp.csx.cam.ac.uk unavailable

Correction to the previous announcement ftp.csx.cam.ac.uk will be unavailable on Monday the 14th of January between 17:00 and 18:30 PM for rack rearrangement.

Wed 9th Jan, 17.30 -19.00: MCS remote Linux service and DS-Filestore SFTP service unavailable

The MCS remote Linux service and DS-Filestore SFTP service will be unavailable on Wednesday 9th January between 17.30 - 19.00 for software updates.


Mon 7th Jan, This mornings Hermes problem has now been fixed

The Hermes problem which stopped some users from logging in between 10.10 and 10.50 has now been fixed. Regret any inconvenience caused to users.


Wed 9th Jan, 07.30 - 09.00: Desktop Services will be unavailable

Desktop Services will be unavailable from 07.30 - 09.00 on Wednesday 9th January due to routine maintenance application of Windows patches.

The CTA Network and the connection to the UCS will be down after 16.00 Wed 21st for essenital maintenance.


Wed 7 Oct, 10.00 - : Cavendish VOIP and Network Issues

Problems with voice and data network. Telecomms office have been informed.


Thu 10 Sep, 08.00 - 09.00: BSS and HEP Separation

Shortly after 8am tomorrow, BSS and HEP will move from the Cavendish network to their own independent networks. This shouldn\'t affect the rest of the Cavendish network in any way, but there\'s a small possibility that some computers will end up on the wrong network.
