NanoPhotonics
In NanoPhotonics, new materials are constructed in which atoms are arranged in sophisticated ways on the nanometre-scale. These meta-materials often display properties that are not observed in the constituents they are made from.
The NanoPhotonics group is one of the latest groups to have been setup at the Cavendish and it is part of the EPSRC-funded UK NanoPhotonics Portfolio in Cambridge.
