Medal for services to Kazakh education awarded

Dr Siddharth Saxena of the Quantum Matter Group of the Cavendish Laboratory has been awarded a medal for services to education in Kazakhstan by the Kazakh Minister of Education & Science, Mr Zhanseit Tuimebayev. The medal was presented by the minister in Astana, at a seminar convened Prof. Dr. Zhanseit Tumanbayev. The seminar on the establishment of a premier national institution for Science and Technology education in Astana was held on the 22nd – 24th of April, 2009. Peter Littlewood |
