Hotel Booking, Abstract Submission and Conference Registration
Booking and Registration
The deadline for hotel room booking is 1st June (see below)
Although we have passed the June 1 deadline for booking hotel rooms in the Conference room block, rooms remain available for the period of the Conference. However, the rate is now $157 (before tax). Please do not include children 12 and under in your count of people in your room.Conference Registration Form (PDF)

If you wish to fill in a separate form for the conference trip or companions events (for payment purposes or whatever) than this is not a problem.
To join the APS, use this link. (PLEASE also join the Topical Group on Shock Compression of Condensed Matter. The future existence of this Conference depends on it!)
Deadline for early registration is 27st May (now passed)
The registration fee for APS members will be $880. This includes proceedings, lunches on Monday and Tuesday, the banquet (not covered for students), coffee breaks, poster session stuff, abstract processing costs, etc. The student fee is half of the full fee. Full details are available on the registration form. If you are unable to register now but fully intend to be at the meeting then please e-mail Amy Lucero-Seaborn (alluce at sandia.gov). This will help us with monitoring the hotel room requirements for the conference. Receipts will be issued via email after payment has been processed (which may be some time after forms have been received)..
Manuscript Submission
Manuscripts will be submitted via the PXP website. Author Instructions are available here. All authors are requested to submit manuscripts, preferable prior to the Conference, but no later than August 4, 2009.
